Our August 2023 update on what’s happening in the Citation CJ1+ preowned sales market;
The Citation CJ1+ is still the smallest Citation market with only 100 total aircraft in the fleet. 8% of the fleet is available for sale (8 aircraft) which is only a 1 unit decrease since the June update. With a market this small low activity is to be expected, and sales have fluctuated from 0 to 2 aircraft sold per month over the last 6 months. There were no sales recorded in July for the Citation CJ1+ but with quality aircraft available for sale we don’t expect that trend to continue. Average list price has slightly increased since our June update up to $2,828,000 and the average sold price is very close at $2,833,333. This signals that the market is balanced between sellers and buyers, and all parties agree about the value of the aircraft.
