In June 2023, there was only one transaction of a Citation CJ1. The market is still active, but averages between 1 and 3 transactions per month. With only 5 CJ1s actively listed for sale in June, that puts 2.6% of the fleet available for sale. There are 193 Citation CJ1s in operation currently, so the inventory is limited.
The average ask price of on-market CJ1s is just over $2.1MM, and the average sold price is hovering just over $2MM. While these figures are close, it suggests there still is room for negotiation with sellers.
