With new factory deliveries still taking place for the popular Citation CJ3+, the fleet grew by two aircraft in June, from 242 to 244. While new deliveries are still taking place, there is still a backlog of aircraft to be delivered, which has helped the pre-owned marketplace stay robust. We have seen between 8 and 12 Citation CJ3+s for sale at any given time since January, with 10 currently for sale (or 4.1% of the fleet). The average asking price has slowly risen to $8,913,333, which is the highest it has been over the last 8 months. The average sold price has remained steady around $8,235,000. This signals that the aircraft that have been traded over the last few months have been slightly older, and as time goes on newer units are entering the marketplace driving the average asking price higher.
