Over the last 6 months, the Citation Encore market has seen a steady rise in aircraft available for sale. At one point in July, there were 13 Citation Encores available for sale. 3 sold and 1 was withdrawn from the market, and July ended with 9 aircraft available for sale, or 5.7% of the fleet of 159 total Citation Encores.
There is still a good balance of quality units available for sale as well as higher-hour, former charter planes. Overall, the current average asking price in this market is $3,720,715. Citation Encores sold in the last 6 months had an average sold price of $3,150,000. With only 6 Citation Encores sold in the last 6 months, July was a significant month for sales for the Citation Encore with three sales.
