Our September 2023 update on what’s happening in the Citation Encore preowned sales market;
The Citation Encore is a market that has enjoyed reinvigorated interest and attention lately. Listings and sales were few and far between from the end of 2022 through the spring of 2023. Since April, we have seen listings rise and sales activity followed suit. Of the 159 Citation Encores in service, July enjoyed the highest number for sale so far this year, with 13 being available. As of the time we published this report, there were only 6 Encores available for sale, or 3.8% of the market.
The average asking price is just over $3.8 Million; however, the average sold price is skewed low due to a few 10,000+ hour aircraft that sold, bringing down the average sales price to $3.15 Million.
