Today, let’s take a closer look at the Citation XLS market. There are currently 325 Citation XLSs in operation, with 10 of them available for sale, representing 3.1% of the fleet. While listing activity has seen a slight decline since April 2024, sales have remained steady, averaging just over two XLS transactions per month since the start of the year.
Focusing on the 10 Citation XLSs currently for sale, these aircraft have been on the market for an average of 185 days. Notably, all the XLSs listed have under 10,000 AFTT, indicating a good selection of quality aircraft. The asking prices for these XLSs range from $4,095,000 to $6,800,000.
In terms of sales data, July saw 3 Citation XLSs sold, bringing the total to 15 over the last six months. Out of these, 3 were off-market sales, which means they were never publicly advertised. The remaining publicly listed XLSs spent an average of 128 days on the market before selling. The sale prices for Citation XLSs over the past six months have ranged from $4,000,000 to $6,300,000.
