Citation Encore Market Update:
The Jet Agent is pleased to provide the following Citation Encore market update for October 2024.
There’s a rise in listing activity for the Encore. There are 11 aircraft for sale today, the highest number since June 2023. Sales haven’t followed a specific trend, but each month since April has had at least one Encore sold.
Here’s a breakdown of the Encore market over the last six months:
- Availability: There are 159 Citation Encore jets in service today, with 11 currently for sale (6.9% of the fleet). This is up from last month, when 9 were for sale, or 5.7% of the fleet.
- Listings: The 11 Encores for sale today have been on the market for an average of 155 days, nearly unchanged from 154 days last month. Three of the listed Encores are high-hour, former charter aircraft, while the rest have a more desirable pedigree. Asking prices for Encore airplanes range from $2,500,000 to $4,595,000.
- Sales: One Citation Encore sold in September, with eight changing ownership over the past six months. Three of those sales were off-market (never publicly advertised). Publicly listed Encores spent an average of 120 days on the market before selling, the same as last month. Sold prices for Encores over the past six months ranged from $2,900,000 to approximately $4,700,000.
