Citation CJ3+Market Update:
The Jet Agent is pleased to provide the following CJ3+ market update for November 2024.
The Citation CJ3+ market remains competitive for buyers. Inventory is still low, with the fewest CJ3+ aircraft for sale since February 2024, yet sales continue steadily.
Here’s the latest:
- Availability: The current fleet includes 283 Citation CJ3+ aircraft in operation. Of these, 10 are for sale, or 3.5% of the fleet. This figure remains unchanged from the previous month, still marking the lowest number of CJ3+ jet listings this year.
- Listings: The 10 CJ3+ listings have been available for an average of 118 days, down from the previous month’s average of 128 days. Buyers can expect asking prices to range between $8,350,000 and $10,900,000. Most of the CJ3+ options available are late models with around 1,200 hours or less. Demand is high for CJ3+ options in the 2014-2018 model year range as none are currently listed.
- Sales: In October, buyers purchased three CJ3+ aircraft. Sales had been rising since June, but low available inventory may have slowed activity. Over the past six months, 17 CJ3+ aircraft sold, including three off-market aircraft. Publicly listed CJ3+ jets spent an average of 120 days on the market before selling, slightly up from last month’s 108 days. Sale prices over this period ranged from approximately $7,400,000 to $11,250,000.
