The CJ1 market saw a significant uptick in sales in December, recording its highest sales activity since December 2023. Listing activity has remained steady, demonstrating consistent interest in this versatile aircraft.

Fleet and Availability:
There are 195 CJ1s currently in operation, with 17 of these available for sale (8.7% of the fleet). This is a decrease from last month when 19 CJ1s (9.7% of the fleet) were listed.
Listings and Asking Prices:
The 17 CJ1s currently on the market have been listed for an average of 199 days, up from 183 days last month. While December sales were strong, four of the five aircraft sold quickly, leaving older listings to skew the DOM average upward. Asking prices for CJ1s today range from $1,300,000 to $2,300,000.
Sales Activity:
December marked an impressive five CJ1s sold, up from three in November. Over the past six months, 13 CJ1s changed ownership, with only two of these being off-market transactions. Publicly listed CJ1s averaged 116 days on the market before trading, slightly longer than last month’s 101 days. Sale prices over the past six months range from $1,650,000 to $2,300,000.
