Our May 2023 update on what’s happening in the Citation CJ2+ preowned sales market;
For the period November 2022 through April 2023, the number of Citation CJ2+ aircraft for sale has been steadily on the rise. After a busy December, the number of Citation CJ2+ aircraft for sale briefly dipped, but has been on the rise since January. Sales have followed suit, with 5 being sold in December then a slow down through March. April rebounded with 3 sales, and both the for sale and sold trends are on the way up again. With a reasonable percentage of the fleet for sale (4.5%) we have seen list price and sold price stay relatively close together. Another healthy sign for the Citation CJ2+ is the average days on market for sold aircraft. The average DOM for CJ2+ aircraft sold in the last 6 months was 61 days!
