As an Aircraft Market Research Analyst, you will be responsible for conducting market research and analysis to support the sales and marketing efforts of our aircraft products. You will develop and maintain a comprehensive database of market information and provide regular reports and updates to our sales and marketing team on market conditions and potential opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily market research and analyze business aviation data and trends to monitor aircraft market values, listings, and sales and to identify trends, opportunities, and threats in the global aircraft market.
- Maintain accuracy of data in the aircraft values database. Regularly share market insights including creation of a monthly market report.
- Establish strong industry contacts through phone calls, emails, and conference attendance for continuous market research and gaining industry insight.
- Reach out to aircraft owners and operators via email and phone to identify potential listings and off-market aircraft.
- Examine FAA documents for aircraft ownership and transaction history.
- Contribute to client deliverables such as presentations, aircraft market reports, comparisons, and financial models.
- Make daily cold calls to prospects using databases such as AMSTAT and JETNET.
Qualifications:
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Aeronautical Science, Data Science, Marketing, or related field
- Experience in market research or a related field
- Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis and interpretation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in a heavy phone-based setting
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Knowledge of CRM systems (Salesforce)
- Experience working with Microsoft Excel
- Experience in the aviation industry is a plus
