The Citation CJ3+ market is still moving and shaking with a few new listings and sales in November.
Let’s take a closer look at the CJ3+ market:
Availability: There are currently 284 Citation CJ3+ jets in operation, thanks to one new delivery from the manufacturer. Of these, 11 are listed for sale, representing 3.9% of the fleet—up from 10 last month (3.5% of the fleet).
Listings: The 11 CJ3+ jets on the market have been listed for an average of 139 days, up from 118 days last month. Current asking prices range from $8,500,000 to $10,900,000. In November, we identified several off-market opportunities, giving our clients access to aircraft not widely advertised. Earlier serial number options are still in high demand.
Sales: Three CJ3+ jets sold in November, consistent with October’s numbers. Over the past six months, 16 CJ3+ aircraft have been sold, including two off-market transactions. Publicly listed jets averaged 121 days on the market before selling, nearly unchanged from 120 days last month. Sale prices during this period ranged from approximately $7,400,000 to $10,995,000.Â
