Citation CJ4 Market Update:
The Jet Agent is pleased to provide the following CJ4 market update for November 2024.
The Citation CJ4 (and Gen2 variant) market remains heavy with listings. Sales are starting to increase, with many buyers actively seeking quality CJ4 options. We anticipate a strong close to the year for CJ4 sales.
Here’s a market overview:
- Availability: The Citation CJ4 fleet now includes 450 aircraft, with one new delivery since the previous month. Among them, 41 are for sale, representing 9.1% of the fleet. This marks a slight decrease from last month’s 42 available CJ4s, or 9.4% of the fleet.
- Listings: The 41 CJ4s listed for sale today have been on the market for an average of 189 days, up from 163 days from October. Similar to last month’s CJ4 market update, some listings have languished, which keeps the days-on-market average high despite multiple new listings. Buyers in the CJ4 market can expect asking prices between $5,300,000 and $12,750,000.
- Sales: Buyers purchased five CJ4s in October, an increase from just one sale in September. Over the past six months, 19 CJ4s changed hands, including five off-market aircraft. Publicly listed CJ4s spent an average of 99 days on the market before selling, down from 120 days last month. Recent CJ4 sales prices ranged from $6,200,000 to $12,850,000.
