The Citation M2 (and Gen2 model) has proven to be one of the most popular owner-flown aircraft ever made, and that is solidified by 5 more new deliveries growing the total fleet size to 347 units. There remains a strong backlog of customers still waiting to take delivery of their factory new Citation M2 Gen2 aircraft as well.
July wrapped up with 26 Citation M2s available for sale, or 7.5% of the fleet. May was the peak of sales in the last 6 months with 6 Citation M2s changing ownership, and June and July each had 3 sales taking place.
The Citation M2 market is one of the most balanced with regard to average asking price ($4,679,783) and average sold price ($4,652,692). With a strong inventory of pre-owned Citation M2s available for sale, this will be a popular market to follow as we enter the “busy season” of aircraft sales.
