Fleet Size & Availability: There are 472 Citation Mustangs in operation worldwide, with 23 aircraft currently listed for sale, representing 4.9% of the fleet. This is a slight increase from November, when 21 Mustangs were available (4.4%). Notably, availability figures reflect the inventory status at the time of reporting, while our monthly graphs capture availability trends across the entire month.
Market Listings: The 23 Mustangs listed for sale have been on the market for an average of 192 days, an increase from last month’s 155 days. Asking prices currently range from $1,275,000 to $2,750,000, offering buyers a wide variety of options in terms of condition, upgrades, and pricing. This diversity is a major advantage for prospective buyers considering the Mustang, which remains a top choice for those transitioning out of turboprop aircraft.
Sales Activity: Mustang sales slowed in November, with three aircraft sold compared to nine in October. Over the last six months, 36 Mustangs changed ownership, including seven off-market sales, highlighting a consistent demand for the model. Publicly listed Mustangs sold during this period spent an average of 171 days on the market, up slightly from 166 days in October. Sale prices for Mustangs over the last six months ranged from $545,000 to $2,400,000.
