The Mustang fleet consists of 472 aircraft, with 23 currently for sale (4.9% of the fleet). This figure is unchanged from last month.
Market Listings:
The 23 Mustangs on the market today have been listed for an average of 202 days, up slightly from 192 days last month. Recent months have seen a reduction in available Mustangs due to fleet retirements by operators in Egypt and Europe, leaving mostly retail pedigree aircraft better suited for individual ownership. Asking prices for Mustangs range from $1,275,000 to $2,750,000.
Sales Activity:
Five Mustangs were sold in December, up from three in November. Over the past six months, 29 Mustangs changed ownership, with five of these being off-market transactions. Publicly listed Mustangs averaged 166 days on the market before trading, down from 171 days last month. Sale prices for Mustangs over the last six months ranged from $1,395,000 to $2,400,000.
