Citation Mustang Market Update:
The Jet Agent is pleased to provide the following Citation Mustang update for October 2024.
Of the Citation fleet, the Mustang remains one of the most popular aircraft models in operation today. It is a fun market to follow, as it’s constantly changing. Activity and pricing trends are different each month, creating one of the most dynamic markets we track.
Here’s a look at the most recent updates for the mighty Citation Mustang:
- Availability: The Citation Mustang fleet has 472 aircraft in operation today. Of those, 28 are currently for sale, which is 5.9% of the fleet. This is just a slight increase from last month, when there were 27 available for sale, or 5.7% of the fleet.
- Listings: Looking first at the 28 Mustangs for sale today, they have been on the market for an average of 197 days so far. This is up 12 days from last month, when the same average was 185 days. As far as pricing goes, Mustangs for sale today range in asking price from $1,275,000 to $2,750,000.
- Sales: Citation Mustang sales have been trending down since June (12 sales), with only 2 selling in September. Over the last six months, 37 Mustangs changed ownership and 10 of those were sold off-market. Of the publicly listed options, they spent an average of 136 days on the market before selling. This is just lower than last month when the average was 141 days. Mustangs sold over the last six months traded between $545,000 and $2,400,000.
