Citation XLS+ Market Update:
The Jet Agent is pleased to provide this Citation XLS Gen2 and XLS+ market update for November 2024.
The XLS+ listing activity has basically matched sales activity over the last six months. The graphs here show that when listings go down, sales followed suit, and as more listings hit the market for sale, retail sales followed.
Let’s dive into the XLS+ fleet results:
- Availability: There are 313 Citation XLS+ jets in operation, with 16 listed for sale (5.1% of the fleet), unchanged from last month.
- Listings: The 16 XLS+ jets for sale have averaged 219 days on the market, up from last month’s 203-day average. Asking prices range from $6,500,000 to $11,900,000, reflecting a decrease on both ends of the range compared to last month.
- Sales: Two XLS+ jets sold in October, up from one in September. Eleven XLS+ jets sold over the last six months, with two off-market sales. Public listings took an average of 128 days to sell, slightly down from 134 days last month. Recent sold prices ranged between $7,100,000 and $11,900,000.
Citation XLS Gen2 Update:
The Citation XLS Gen2 has had limited activity in the pre-owned market. Two new deliveries bring the fleet to 46 aircraft, with four currently for sale (8.7% of the fleet). Asking prices range from $14,950,000 to $15,995,000. Four Gen2 jets sold on the pre-owned market in the last six months, with sold prices between $13,250,000 and $15,800,000. As this fleet grows, more insights will emerge.
