The Jet Agent continues to monitor the market for the Citation XLS, offering insights to buyers and sellers as the trends evolve. As of today, there are 325 Citation XLS aircraft in operation, with 10 currently listed for sale—3.1% of the fleet. This is the same number we saw last month, signaling a relatively stable market for the XLS.
The 10 XLSs on the market have been listed for an average of 222 days, which is up from last month’s 185 days. Listing activity has been slowing since April 2024, and the sales numbers reflect that. Buyers can currently expect to see asking prices ranging from $4,095,000 to $6,800,000 for an XLS.
In terms of sales, no Citation XLS aircraft were sold in August, marking a continuation of the sales decline seen over the past two months. Over the last six months, however, 13 XLSs were sold, with 2 of those being off-market transactions. For the 11 XLSs that were publicly listed, they spent an average of 129 days on the market before being sold. Prices for XLSs sold in the last six months ranged from $4,000,000 to $6,300,000.
