Our March 2024 update on what’s happening in the Citation CJ2+ preowned sales market;
In the Citation CJ2+ family, there are currently 223 aircraft in operation today. As of March 11, 2024, there were 13 available for sale, or 5.8% of the fleet. This is up just 1 CJ2+ for sale since the February 13th, 2024, update, when there were 12 available for sale, or 5.4% of the fleet.

Looking at the average days on market, Citation CJ2+s that are currently available for sale have been on the market for an average of 179 days. This is down just slightly from last month when the average was 187 days. Looking now at the average days on market for CJ2+s sold over the last six months, it took an average of 123 for a CJ2+ to sell. That is virtually unchanged from last month when the average was 122 days.

Now let’s look at pricing information. For the Citation CJ2+ aircraft that are currently listed for sale, their asking prices range from $4,350,000 to $5,000,000. There were 3 CJ2+s that sold in February, and 11 over the last six months. Of those 11, they ranged in sold price from $4,000,000 to $4,750,000. This market has a relatively small range of list prices and sold prices, suggesting buyers and sellers for CJ2+s agree on the value of this aircraft.
