Citation CJ2 Market Update:
The Jet Agent is pleased to provide the following CJ2 market update for October 2024.
Interested buyers have plenty of options to choose from as there’s a large selection of Citation CJ2 jets available for sale.
Here’s the scoop:
- Availability: There are 235 Citation CJ2s in operation today. Of those, there are 26 for sale which is 11.1% of the fleet. This is down slightly from last month when there were 29 for sale, or 12.3% of the fleet.
- Listings: Looking at the 26 CJ2s for sale today, they have been on the market for an average of 174 days so far. This is up from last month when the average was 151 days. There were no new CJ2 listings in September, which causes the average to rise without new listings (low DOM) offsetting the rising average. CJ2s for sale today range in asking price from $2,500,000 to $3,750,000.
- Sales: There were two Citation CJ2s sold in September, the same number of sales as August. Over the last six months, there were 15 CJ2s that sold. Of those, 4 were sold off-market, and never advertised to the public. The publicly listed CJ2s spent an average of 160 days on the market before selling, up just slightly from last month when the average was 156 days. The CJ2s sold over the last six months range in sold price from $2,500,000 to $3,650,000.
