Citation Excel Market Update:
The Jet Agent is pleased to provide the following Excel market update for November 2024.
The Citation Excel market is still quite active. Listing activity has generally been rising since May, with a brief dip in October. Sales activity is similar, mostly on the rise with slight dips in August and October.
Let’s take a look at what’s been going on with the Citation Excel:
- Availability: There are 354 Citation Excel jets in operation today. Of these, 18 are currently for sale, which is 5.1% of the fleet. This represents a decrease of two from last month, when 5.6% of the fleet was listed.
- Listings: The 18 Excel aircraft available today have been on the market for an average of 146 days, up slightly from last month’s 137-day average. Asking prices currently range from $1,895,000 to $6,000,000, offering buyers a wide variety of options, from low- to high-time aircraft.Â
- Sales: Three Excels sold in October, down from five in September. Over the last six months, 15 Excel jets changed ownership, with seven sold off-market. Publicly listed options took an average of 197 days to sell, up by over 50 days from last month. Recent prices for sold Excels ranged between $2,200,000 and $4,100,000.
