Citation CJ3 Market Update:
The Jet Agent is pleased to provide the following Citation CJ3 market update for January 2025.
Citation CJ3 sales were strong to finish the year. With minimal new listings entering the market in December and strong sales, we saw the available CJ3 for sale count go down quite a bit.
Here’s the latest with the CJ3 market:
Availability: There are 410 Citation CJ3s in operation today, and 23 of those are currently for sale (5.6% of the fleet). This is down seven from last month, when there were 30 for sale, or 7.3% of the fleet.
Listings: The 23 CJ3s that are listed for sale today have been on the market for an average of 163 days so far, up slightly from last month when the average was 156 days. Asking prices range from $3,450,000 to $5,900,000. Strong sales in December left the CJ3 market with fewer options for prospective buyers to choose from.
Sales: As we predicted last month, sales were strong in December with nine CJ3s trading. This is up from November when there were six sales recorded. Over the last six months, 32 CJ3s changed ownership, with six of those being sold off-market. Publicly listed CJ3s spent an average of 157 days on the market before selling, up just slightly from last month when the average was 152 days. The CJ3s sold over the last six months range in sold price from $3,700,000 to approximately $5,900,000.
