Our August 2023 update on what’s happening in the Citation CJ2+ preowned sales market;
Sales activity for the Citation CJ2+ has been trending up since March 2023. During that same time, we have seen available units for sale decreasing. July wrapped up with 8 Citation CJ2+s for sale, or 3.6% of the fleet (223 aircraft). As we have seen available units decrease, we have also seen asking prices and sold prices increase. The current average ask price is $4,956,000 and the average sold price for the last 6 months is $4,654,286. As supply has been shrinking, that explains the increase in sold prices.
