Our July 2023 update on what’s happening in the Citation CJ2+ preowned sales market;
The Citation CJ2+ fleet is currently sitting at 223 aircraft in service, and 8 are currently for sale totaling 3.6% of the fleet available for sale. The Citation CJ2+ has enjoyed a steady number of aircraft for sale over the last 6 months ranging from 8 to 14 available at any given time. With that has come a rising trend in sales since March – zero Citation CJ2+s sold in March, 3 in April, 2 in May, and 4 in June. The CJ2+ had an average list price of $4,765,000 in June, down just slightly from May ($4,782,143). The average sold price fell just over $250,000 from $4,750,000 in May to $4,497,500 in June. The values are still holding strong, showing us that the CJ2+ is still a highly sought-after aircraft.
