Currently, there are 223 Citation CJ2+s operational, with 15 units available for sale, representing 6.7% of the fleet. This figure reflects a slight increase compared to the previous month, where 14 were listed for sale, constituting 6.3% of the fleet. This presents a more balanced market environment for both buyers and sellers, offering buyers a broader selection of aircraft to consider.
Among the 15 Citation CJ2+s available for sale, they have been on the market for an average of 195 days, with asking prices ranging from $4,350,000 to $4,975,000. The average days on the market has remained relatively stable over the past few months, showing minor fluctuations. Similarly, the range of asking prices has shown consistency, indicating a shared understanding between buyers and sellers regarding the value of a CJ2+.
Regarding the 10 CJ2+s that have changed ownership over the last six months, they spent an average of 152 days on the market, with sold prices ranging from $4,000,000 to $4,650,000. Interestingly, the range of sold prices is marginally lower than the range of asking prices, suggesting potential room for negotiation in the purchase of a CJ2+.
