Our November 2023 update on what’s happening in the Citation CJ2+ preowned sales market;
The Citation CJ2+ family currently has 223 in operation today, and 8 are for sale (3.6%) at the time of publishing this update. From April until August there was a downward trend in new listing activity, however from August to current listing activity increased and leveled off.

Sales of Citation CJ2+s peaked in June this year with 5 changing ownership, and since then sales activity declined through August, then leveling off again at 2 per month in September and October respectively. The average ask price of CJ2+s on the market today is $4.62MM and the average sold price over the last 6 months is $4.66MM.

With the recent increase in listing activity since August, this has lowered the average days on market for current listings from 228 (August) to 195 (October). The average days on market for sold aircraft in the last six months is relatively unchanged from 94 (August) to 96 (October).
