Citation CJ2 Market Update:
The Jet Agent is pleased to provide the following CJ2 market update for November 2024.
Since May, over 10% of the CJ2 fleet has been available for sale. Listings remain active, with steady sales helping turnover.
Here’s the latest on the busy CJ2 market:
- Availability: There are 235 Citation CJ2 jets in operation today, with 25 currently for sale (10.6% of the fleet). This is down from last month, when 26 CJ2s were available, or 11.1% of the fleet.
- Listings: The 25 CJ2 aircraft currently for sale have been on the market for an average of 185 days. Last month, the average was 174 days. CJ2 buyers today can expect asking prices between $2,495,000 and $3,750,000. The number of CJ2s for sale has stayed steady over the past six months.
- Sales: Three CJ2 jets sold in October, up from two in September. Over the last six months, 17 CJ2s have changed ownership, with five of those sold off-market. Publicly listed CJ2s averaged 144 days on the market before selling, down from 160 days last month. During the past six months, sold prices range from $2,500,000 to $3,650,000.
