The Citation CJ3 preowned market has seen a steady supply of aircraft for sale over the last 6 months, averaging 18-20 available for sale at any point during each month. After a trend of increasing sales by month that began in January, sales dropped in May to only one CJ3 changing hands. The current percentage of fleet for sale is now 4.4%, up from last month’s 3.9% (see last month’s report on the CJ3 market here).

Over the last 6 months the average sold price was just north of $5.8 million. We are now seeing an average listing price of CJ3s at just under $5.5 million. There is one CJ3 available for sale (as-is/where-is, no engine program) that is skewing downwards the average listing price. Overall, the CJ3 market is relatively quiet and stable at this time.
