Citation CJ3 Market Update:
The Jet Agent is pleased to provide the following CJ3 market update for November 2024.
The CJ3 market remains listing-heavy. The number of sales of CJ3s have remained in balance with the number of new listings for the past two months, creating a steady and consistent market.
Here’s a closer look:
- Availability: Today, the Citation CJ3 fleet consists of 410 jets, with 34 currently for sale, representing 8.3% of the fleet. This is unchanged from the previous month and is the highest number of Citation CJ3s listed for sale since early 2020.
- Listings: Three new CJ3 listings became available in October. The 34 CJ3s for sale have been listed for an average of 176 days, up from 169 days last month. Asking prices now range from $3,695,000 to $6,000,000.
- Sales: Three CJ3s sold in October, Over the past six months, 20 CJ3s have changed ownership, including four CJ3s that were only available off-market. Publicly listed CJ3s spent an average of 144 days on market before selling, down slightly from 147 days in the previous month. Recent CJ3 sales prices range from $4,175,000 to about $5,900,000.
