Citation Excel Market Update:
The Jet Agent is pleased to provide the following Citation Excel update for October 2024.
The Citation Excel market activity has been on the rise lately, indicating that this airframe is still in high demand.
This is the latest with the Excel fleet:
- Availability: There are 354 Citation Excel aircraft in operation today. Of those, 20 are currently for sale which is 5.6% of the fleet. This is up two from last month when there were 18 for sale, or 5.1% of the fleet.
- Listings: The 20 Citation Excels for sale today have been available for an average of 137 days so far. This is down just five days from last month when the average was 142 days. Buyers for Excels today can expect to see asking prices between $1,895,000 to $6,000,000. There is a wide variety of Citation Excel jets available today. Some options have as low as 2,500 hours while others have over 13,000 hours. Since April, 2024, we’ve seen an increase in Excels available for sale at any given time.
- Sales: Five Citation Excel aircraft sold in September, compared to just two in August. Over the past six months, 14 Excels have changed ownership, with half of these transactions occurring off-market. The publicly listed aircraft spent an average of 142 days on the market before selling. This is an increase of 19 days compared to the 123-day average last month. Recent sale prices for Excels have ranged between $2,200,000 and $3,800,000.
