Our June 2023 update on what’s happening in the Citationjet 525 “CJ” preowned sales market;
For the 6-month period of January 2023 through June 2023, we saw 27 Citation CJs change ownership. This has been by far one of the most active markets that we have been tracking. Over the last 6 months, this light jet has seen steady listing activity, and a rising sales trend to match. From May to June however, we saw the number of available CJs for sale decrease, as well as the number of sales.
The average asking price is very close to the average sold price, indicating a balanced market where buyers and sellers agree on the value of these jets. The average days on market for available Citation CJs is at 165 days, up from last month’s average of 111 days. The average days on market for CJs that sold over the last six months was 137.
