Currently, 335 Citation Jets are in operation worldwide, with 27 of these (8.1% of the fleet) available for sale. This represents a slight decrease from last month when 30 jets (9.0% of the fleet) were listed.
Listings and Asking Prices:
The 27 CJs currently for sale have been on the market for an average of 227 days, up from 206 days last month. This rise reflects a slowdown in sales during December, leaving older listings unsold and causing the average days on the market (DOM) to increase. Asking prices for available CJs range from $1,250,000 to $2,495,000.
Sales Activity:
December saw one CJ sold, a decrease from four sales in November. Over the past six months, a total of 22 Citation Jets have changed ownership, including 9 off-market sales. This off-market activity highlights the number of opportunities available that may not be publicly listed. Publicly listed options averaged 218 days on the market before selling, slightly improved from 213 days last month. Sale prices for CJs in the past six months range from $1,000,000 to $1,850,000.
