Within the Citation family, the Citation CJ (525) holds a notable presence with 336 aircraft currently in operation. Among these, 30 are currently listed for sale, comprising approximately 8.9% of the fleet. This figure remains consistent with the previous month, as 5 new listings were introduced while 5 sales were reported.
Presently, the 30 Citation CJs available for sale have been on the market for an average of 190 days, a marginal increase from last month’s average of 183 days. Given the significant number of CJs on the market, substantial sales or new listings are necessary to significantly influence this average on a monthly basis. The asking prices for these Citation Jets range from $1,000,000 to $2,600,000.
Over the past six months, there have been 21 Citation Jets successfully sold, with an average transaction period of 129 days, showing a slight decrease from the previous month. However, unless there is accelerated sales activity for the recently listed CJs, it is anticipated that the average time to sell will remain relatively high, mirroring the rise in average days on the market for current listings. The sold prices for these 21 CJs over the last six months varied, ranging from approximately $750,000 to $2,150,000.
