The Citation CJ2+ market has shown a strong and steady supply of aircraft available for sale since December, hovering around 4.5% at any given time (see our May 2023 market report here). Citation CJ2+ market showed the popularity of the aircraft model to buyers during the last 6 months with an average “days on market” of 65 days on market. Sales have slowed, with current selection of Citation CJ2+s for sale averaging 152 days on the market.
One positive aspect of the CJ2+ market right now is that sellers have, for the most part, been pricing their aircraft realistically for the current market environment. The current average asking price and the average sold price for CJ2+s in the last 6 months is within $30,000 of each other.
Buyers are seeing the value in the aircraft, and sellers are bringing realistically priced, quality aircraft to market.
