After eight years away from flying, this experienced pilot decided it was “now or never” to return to aviation at the highest level — as a single-pilot Citation M2 owner. He knew the transition would be complex: earning a multi-engine rating, getting typed, securing favorable insurance, and navigating a competitive, seller’s market. Recommendations from fellow Citation Jet Pilots Association members pointed him to The Jet Agent.
We found and negotiated a clean, well-equipped Citation M2 at an excellent price, even in a tight seller’s market. Beyond the purchase, we arranged a training aircraft for his multi-engine and type ratings, connected him with trusted mentor pilots, and helped present his experience and training plan to insurance underwriters to secure the best coverage possible.
A few years later, when it was time to sell, we delivered again — selling his M2 for more than he paid and 56% faster than the average days on market for the Citation M2. The result was a smooth, profitable exit that proved the power of data-driven representation and long-term client support.

“I recently purchased an M2 after coming off a long hiatus from flying (eight years) after I realized that it was now or never to get back into aviation. It was a big part of my younger life for 25 years (ATP rated pilot with close to 4,000 hours – the majority in a Baron 58 and several hundred in a Meridian) so I thought that I could accomplish my goal of getting typed and insured for single pilot operations within several months – or however long it would take because this isn’t a sprint. It’s getting back into aviation at the ultimate level because, when we get older, we realize that life is indeed short, so why not fly a jet as long as the stars have aligned to do just that!
I realized that I needed professional help to accomplish these goals – so I went to Denise Wilson because the recommendations that I got from members of CJP. Some generous members gave me a considerable amount of their time and one specifically said that I couldn’t go wrong with Denise – he was so right – he actually tipped the scales for me to go with her.
Denise has been an integral part of my exciting (yet arduous due to intensive training) process over the past several months – I couldn’t have done it without her. I was recently typed in the airplane and she set me up with an excellent instructor and an all-around great guy who I’d recommend to anyone who needs mentoring/instruction. So she not only found me a clean squawk free airplane (so far) – she also helped me negotiate an excellent purchase price in a seller’s market.
When the paperwork started piling up for everything that goes along with closing, insurance, CAMP, RVSM requirements, etc., etc., Denise was there every step of the way in a timely manner. She even would speak to me on a Sunday afternoon when I felt I needed to be on top of things first thing on Monday morning because I would start training that Monday afternoon and that would be almost all-consuming for several days in a row. So without her help on Sunday, the entire week could have been blown when it came to getting important things done – she knew this and that’s why she was there for me. And I should point out that this was after closing – after checks had been exchanged. So, in my point of view, that speaks well of her professionalism and character.”
